Starting from July, Google Chrome marks all HTTP sites as “not secure” in the address bar. This gives users an extra notification that these sties are unencrypted.

According to the Chrome team, that 81 of the top 100 sites have adopted to HTTPS. HTTPS encryption secures the communication between your browser and the websites you are browsing, ensuring no one in the middle can tamper with the traffic or spy on what is going on.

It is really easy to adopt to HTTPS as well. There is automated services like Let’s Encrypt.
